Adrian Hilton - TEaching

In 2006 I was involved in the introduction of the Media Engineering undergraduate degree programmes and in particular the Digital Media Engineering programme. I am pathway leader for the Electronic & Computer Engineering and Digital Media Engineering programmes within EE.

I teach modules at undergraduate and MSc level in the areas of computer vision, graphics, image and video processing.
EE2041: computer vision and graphics module.

Undergraduate and MSc Projects

I supervise level 3 and MSc projects in the areas of computer vision, video analysis, graphics and animation. Ideas for projects can be found here. Many projects are related to computer generated imagery, visual effects and audio-visual media production for film, broadcast and games. Projects are primarily software based and require a good knowledge of both programming and mathematics. I have supervised a number of students awarded prizes for their project work and am always looking for motivated students with the ability to achieve outstanding projects. I am also keen to support the most able students to continue to higher level research studies. If you are interested in pursuing a project related to vision, video or graphics please get in touch via email to discuss listed or other project ideas you have.http://cvssp-data.eps.surrey.ac.uk/Personal/AdrianHilton/EE2041http://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Personal/A.Hilton/fyphttp://www.ee.surrey.ac.uk/Personal/A.Hilton/fypmailto:a.hilton@surrey.ac.uk?subject=project%20shapeimage_1_link_0shapeimage_1_link_1shapeimage_1_link_2shapeimage_1_link_3
